How to Register for an FRC Program:
Your registration can be taken over the phone at 978-741-7449, with a MC/Visa/Discover credit card payment, Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. You may also use the FRC Registration Forms included in each FRC Newsletter PDF. Mail forms along with payment to FRC, 19 Cedarview Street, Salem, MA 01970. We cannot hold a reservation without payment. Checks must clear before your program date. Please allow two weeks for checks to arrive, be processed and to clear your bank. Returned checks will incur an additional $25.00 service fee. PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. We must meet program minimums 2 weeks prior to each event. If a program does not meet the minimum number of registered participants by the registration deadline, we will cancel the program.
Important Information About Attending FRC Field Trips:
ARRIVAL: Please allow yourself plenty of time to arrive at the program locations, find parking and get to the meeting place at least 20 minutes prior to the program start time. Arriving early so the program can begin on time is very important to the program educators and to each family driving in for this special opportunity. Delays often times result in the educator having to delete portions of the planned program in order to finish on schedule.
REFUNDS: All registrations are final and nonrefundable. There are no refunds or credits for missed programs. If a facility or the FRC cancels a class, refunds are processed immediately.
DROP-OFF POLICY: As homeschooling parents, you are the educator/chaperone responsible for the safety and well being of your child. Unless otherwise stated, you are expected to register with your student and accompany them at all times.
NONPARTICIPATING SIBLINGS: Only registered program participants are permitted in the classrooms and on program tours. Nonparticipating siblings are welcome at most facilities - please be sure to read the FRC FACILITY DIRECTORY, included in each FRC Newsletter PDF, for detailed information regarding the practices of each facility.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: Many of our December, January, February and March classes have snow dates. Please be sure to record these dates on your personal calendar in addition to the regular program dates. In case of inclement weather, plan on dressing appropriately and attending as scheduled. If the program is canceled due to inclement weather we will post a notice on the FRC web site at www.FRC.info and e-mail you directly. We will ask you to confirm receipt of the cancellation notice and if we do not hear from you within a reasonable amount of time, we will call your cell phone (if we have a number on file for you), and or leave a message on your house phone. When in doubt about a cancellation it is your responsibility to contact us (via phone, e-mail or web) to inquire about program status.
